G4 Team in Madeira island to teach a hands-on course

As part of its advanced training activities of CQM - Centro de Química da Madeira the G4 team was invited to taught a course entitled “Nucleic acid secondary structures: characterization and applications (a hands-on approach)”.

The activity was organized on the 16th and 17th of March of 2023, and aimed to talk with master's and doctoral students and other CQM researchers about trends in the field of nucleic acid research particularly in non-canonical structures.

The theoretical lessons were carried by Professor Carla Cruz, a researcher at the Center for Research in Health Sciences at the University of Beira Interior and leader of the G4Lab research group, and the practical lessons were given by PhD students André Miranda and Joana Figueiredo.
